The Penang based newspaper Star used to be edited and printed in this building, which now has still their advertising office for easy access, the main business is at Bayan Lepas. The space is open to enter and have a brief, but interesting look at the island’s colourfull history. Search for the picture of Jimmy Choo, he is a Penangite too. There are books and souvenirs on sale and a free copy of Penang monthly to pick up. It has well written articles about the past glory and modern day life, sponsored by the think tank Penang Institute.
