The Penang Floating Mosque is definitely not like any other mosque in the world, although mosques with a similar name still exist. The combination of bright colors from the blue of the sea, the white walls of the mosque, the color accents of the roof of the mosque and the minaret and the greenery of the surrounding hills make the impression of this temple unique. The mosque seems to float on sea water. Unfortunately, this impression is created mainly during high tide. The rest of the time, the sand of the beach is treacherously exposed. The mosque is a stylistic mixture of Middle Eastern and local architecture.
