Penang Bird Park is Malaysia’s first and largest bird park, established in 1988. Located in Seberang Jaya on the mainland of Penang, the park spans 5 acres and houses over 3,000 birds representing more than 300 species, including 150 native Malaysian species. The park features walk-in aviaries, a geodesic dome, and landscaped gardens with waterfalls and ponds, providing a naturalistic environment for birds such as flamingos, pelicans, and swans. Visitors can enjoy interactive bird shows held daily at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM, as well as opportunities to hand-feed birds. The park also hosts other wildlife like mouse-deer and crocodiles, making it a family-friendly destination for nature enthusiasts.
