This was a fascinating experience and the skill and patience of the workers has to be seen to be believed. Apparently, approximately there are 20 employees, although we saw about half a dozen. I think it’s quite rare to see such concentration over a long period of time.
After a factory tour, there is a large shop selling batik clothing, batik pictures and batik cloth. Within this shop is a much smaller Gift shop. Prices are very reasonable.
You won’t need more than a couple of hours at most.
