The Penang Indian Heritage Museum was founded on May 1, 2018, with the mission of sharing captivating information and incredible stories behind the historical items used by Indians in Malaysia and worldwide. Housed in a converted longstanding household, the museum features five zone galleries. It proudly showcases the finest heirlooms from Indian communities, each preserving its unique culture, beliefs, and traditions. Every item in the collection narrates a fascinating story of its historical use and resilience through the decades. Our commitment extends to obtaining dedicated space for public exhibition, demonstrating our enthusiasm and dedication to preserving these unique items for all to appreciate.
