Fort Cornwallis, in the northeastern corner of Georgetown, was a fortress built by the British in the late eighteenth century after the landing. In addition to seeing the fortress building, you can also see the British canons set up here and enjoy the sea views not far away. This fortress is not large in size, and a round should be more than ten minutes. Currently under renovation, only half of the space is open for visitors to appreciate, visibility is reduced a lot, but is still an important historical site. If you don’t want to spend 20 HKD in it, you can go around the fortress and enjoy it.
